Vets News 8th November 2024

Now that the winter season is drawing in, and the Nights are getting longer, the activities of the Vets section is a little reduced. However, we still run competitions, and the website has been updated with a few tweaks which I'll explain in this blog.

November Stableford on 5th November

The November stableford results, Captain's Report are now on the website on the Results Tables page, and also recorded on the individual page for the competition

The Vice-Captain's Report, with scores and photos of the group winners are shown on the competition page, and the winners photos are also shown on the home and 2024 Photo Gallery pages.

It is a shame that not all winners stayed for the photos, but hopefully the

Captain or Vice Captain can get their photos over the coming days or weeks to be put on the website.

Results Tables Page

Please note ALL Competitions and Medals are now shown individually, you can search for the competition on the results page and click the link to take you directly to the individual results for that competition. All winners, 2nd, 3rd and 4th (in some cases) are now displayed.

Winners Trophies and Name Searches

Also - some of you may know there is a way to search the website for any trophies or competitions (not medals yet) that you may have won. You do do this in 2 ways:

Winners Trophy Search - Select a Trophy from the pull-down list to see who has won the trophy in the years it has been running.

Winners Name Search - Select the Search Name box, enter part of a name (3 characters minimum) then click Submit to see which trophies that name may have won.

Vets Diary Dates 2025

Lastly - all Vets diary entries for 2025 have now been entered into the Vets Diary so you can view which competitions, medals, League, Friendly and Super Senior Matches are coming up in the New Year. Just select the cursor on the month to move it forwards or backwards to view the entries for that month.
