Vets News 25th June
This week the Vets played a Friendly Match at home against The Darenth, and we played our annual 80's Cup competition, where our Octogenarians are included for free. More details below:
Friendly Match at home Vs The Darenth
On Monday we played a match at home against the Darenth. Unfortunately, Malcolm Hurst was injured on the head on the chipping green before the match started and could not play - although he has now fully recovered. Also, one of The Darenth team members had an altercation with a country lane hedge, which caused a tyre to burst, so he could not make the match, leaving Ken Richardson to hold the fort on his own in a singles match. The Results & Team Sheet can be viewed from the 2025 Results link on the Friendlies page. The Results, and Players Stats can also be viewed from the 2025 Stats link on the same page.
