Vets News 15th November 2024

Nov 15, 2024
1 min read

This week the Vets played their annual Texas Scramble Pairs competition. The Results and the Captain's Report (sorry - no photos this week) are now on the website to view.

Also - the Summer Pairs (John Wise Trophy) for 2024 was won this year by Alan Jerome and Malcolm Cole, who were presented with the Trophy by Captain Richard Spratt this week - well done to you both!

Some of you may have noticed there has been a few changes on the Vets Website. The Home page has now been modified with links to useful pages - the top menu still shows all pages to navigate.

There are now links on the Date and Heading from the Results Tables page to show details of all previous Competitions (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th (where all places were counted) and all Monthly Medal Winners (Gold, Silver and Bronze places) back to the start of 2021. Just click on the links in the Results Tables and you can navigate forwards and backwards for each Competition or Medal.

Also - there is now a Winners Photos page where you can filter by Year, and/or Type (Awards Evening, Competition, Medal) and/or Trophy (includes all Medals, and different competitions played throughout the year). I still need to fully populate the Winners Photos which will be done throughout the next few weeks, but you can use the filters now to search for different categories.

Lastly - if there is anything missing, or not connecting to the correct links, or you have issues with the website - please contact me.
