A belated congratulations to our very first Vets Masters Winner Micky Smith!

All winners from the previous year's competitions and medals are eligible to take part in the Vets Masters trophy and were invited by the Vets Captain to enter.

Micky held off some stiff competition from Roy Walford, Alan Jobson and Ian Johnson - who scored a net 70 (as did Micky who won on count back) - to take the inaugural Vets Masters Title, and is shown in the photo below with the trophy, which was donated by the current Vets Captain Keith Vaughan-Williams.

Micky now has a lifetime exemption from having to win a competition to enter the Vets Masters and will be eligible every year for this competition.
