Vets League Team v Langley Park (A)

We had our 1st and usual away match at Langley park today of the 2024 season.

Sadly, like the last couple of years, we were on the wrong end of a 5.5-0.5 defeat on what was a lovely morning for golf.

As usual, the course played long and whilst in reasonable condition the greens were certainly slower than what we are used to at Cherry.

Well done to Micky Smith/Kevin Holland who earned our half-point and commiserations to those who lost in what generally were close games.

Martyn will post the team sheet in due course and hopefully we’ll get a better result in our next match at home to Royal Blackheath on 23/5.
