Vets League Matches 2023

Mar 29, 2023
1 min read

The Vets League Matches for 2023 have now been set up on the website, and for those of you who are eligible, are now available to register your interest to play in them.

The match format (same as the Vets Friendly and Super Seniors League matches) is a 4-ball, better ball, meaning you play as a pair in a team against a pair from another club. The player in the team who scores the best net score on each hole wins the hole for the team.

In the Vets League, the team contains 6 x pairs and 1 x reserve pair for each team.

The criteria for registering is that you must have a Handicap Index of 15.5 or less.

The Vets League Matches for 2023 are shown on the Vets League 2023 Fixtures page, with a link for each match in the table. Please make note of the Time, and Location of each match during the registration process. The matches are also shown in date order on the Vets League Matches 2023 page.

Doug Mason is the Vets Team Captain, and will select the best team he can for each match. Doug has asked that anyone who registers to play, and then subsequently pulls out, to notify Doug immediately, so he can manage the team selection.

Those of you who have registered your interest to play can check which matches you have registered to play in by going to the Home page, clicking your login name, then selecting "My Account", then "Events". The matches you have selected will be at the bottom of the page.

If you have difficulty in following the registration process please contact Martyn Heath.
