Vets League Match v Sundridge Park
We played our 2nd home match and 3rd of the season today at home to Sundridge Park.
On what turned into a lovely afternoon we played out an exciting and exceptionally close match which ultimately finished 3-3.
All but one of the games went to, at least , the 17th green which is what you like to see as did the “reserve” match which we did lose 2&1.
We are still very much in the battle for top slot and a win at Chislehurst in our next game on 22/6 would help our cause no end.
Thanks to all those who played today and expressed an interest in playing by registering online or via the sheet on the notice board.
Well done the League Team with the result against Sundridge Park. Not the result we were looking for but a 3 - 3 draw is a good effort. Sounds like it was a tremendously close match. Sorry I wasn't there to support you. Good luck at Chislehurst on 22 June.
