Vets League Match at Chislehurst

On another glorious day for golf we travelled to Chislehurst today for our 2nd away match of the season.

The course was in great condition with the greens running lovely although a bit slower to what we are perhaps used to at Cherry and it took a few of us a couple of holes to get used to the slower pace.

We lost the first 4 matches but rallied well with the last 2 pairs of myself/Dennis and Micky Smith/Jamie Humphrey winning the last 2 matches to reduce the deficit to a 4-2 loss.

Not the result I had hoped for but not the end of the world either and a good win at home to Langley will keep us in the hunt in the league.
