After an intense season of 5 home and 5 away matches, we managed to pip our closest rivals West Kent on the final match of the season! 🎯 It was a thrilling conclusion that came right down to the wire. 🔥

Lessons Learned: 💭

While we're pleased with our league position, there's clear work to do—especially in our away matches. Converting those road games into more points will be crucial if we're to push further up the table next season. 💪

Looking Ahead to 2027: 🚀

We're already looking forward to the new season with renewed determination and fresh ambitions! The groundwork is laid—let's build on it. ⛳✨

⛳ VETS FRIENDLY VS WEST MALLING – 1ST SEPTEMBER 2026 - Another Close Battle 🏌️

We hosted West Malling at home this week for a Friendly encounter. While the scoreline shows another loss 😔, the reality was much tighter than the result suggests. Results & Team Sheet now on the website to view. The updated Player Stats shows where players stand in the Friendlies played so far this year.

Narrow Margins: 📏

Several of the individual matches were genuinely competitive and could easily have swung either way. 🤝 That's the nature of match play—fine margins separate victory from defeat. The performances were there; fortune just didn't fall our way on the day.

Silver Linings: ☀️

Despite the result, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day filled with wonderful camaraderie between both clubs. 👏 These fixtures are about so much more than the scoreline—the friendships, the competitive spirit, and the shared love of golf. Plus, a delicious lunch topped off the day perfectly! 🍽️

Another Chance: 🔜

We have another Friendly match on Monday, 7th September, to chase that elusive first win of the season! 💪 It's been a challenging campaign, but we're not done yet. This is our moment! 🎯⛳

Onwards and Upwards! 📈✨
