Vets Friendly Vs West Malling

8th September 2023

The Vets played a friendly match at home against West Malling on Tuesday this week. The Results, Team Sheet and overall Player Stats are now availble to view on the links shown.

Captain Malcolm's report on the match was as follows:

"We played West Malling yesterday (5th September) in glorious hot sunshine with the course excellent and the greens superb. We were hoping to avenge a 6 – 0 defeat at their place in July and we won the first 3 matches so were on course. However we lost the final 3 matches albeit they were all close so the final result was a 3 – 3 draw.

Thoroughly enjoyable day with an excellent lunch after the golf and great company. Their players were very complimentary about the course, the food and the camaraderie during the matches and afterwards".
