Vets Captain's Update

Fellow Vets

Its good to back but I apologise for not bringing the weather back with me . . . I left my golf game in Turkey too!

My report for last Tuesday's June Medal competition will be uploaded shortly onto the website here -> https://martynheath.wixsite.com/vets/2022-medals

This coming Monday (6th June) the Vets & Ladies Mixed Greensomes Competition & Lunch only has a small field this year (possibly due to its proximity to the Jubilee weekend) but the Vets are still short of just one player to make up two teams of 12 (six fourballs), booking will close this evening but please contact me a.s.a.p. via phone or email if you're able to play even if it's nearer the time (cost is only £13 inclusive of a one course beef lasagne lunch). The draw will be circulated shortly to those taking part.

Next Tuesday 7th June we have the Vets Captain's Rumble Team Stableford competition off the yellow tees. The usual rules . . . the best 2 scores count on each of the first 6 holes, best 3 scores on each of the holes 7 thru' 12 and all four counting on the last 6 holes. 17 full teams already booked in but room for more.

The RNLI Shield charity competition falls the following Tuesday on 14th June. Another individual stableford event all in aid of this very worthwhile cause with a raffle as well. All entry fees and raffle proceeds are donated to the cause. 60 entries so far but many more spaces available. A flyer with more details is attached, it will also be uploaded onto the website and appear on the Vets notice board too. Please be as generous as you are able, both with prize donations and raffle ticket purchases.

The Consistency Table is now on the website, and Alan's news item for upcoming events is also now on the News Section. and the updated News Ticker.

Thanks & Kind Regards

See you in the club house soon!
