Team Captain Required

6th April 2023 On behalf of the Club's incoming Captain Bob Smith... The Club are currently looking for a Team Captain for one of our Inter Club Competitions - The Grey Trophy: 8 player team with handicaps of 17.5 and over. The competition is Knockout match-play. Teams of 8 with 1pt for a win, ½pt for a drawn hole, and zero points for a lost hole. The winning team progressing to the next round. Ideally the Team Captain would have a Handicap index of no lower than 17.5. As the Grey Trophy is for players of Index 17.5+ after all why go to the effort of picking a Team, and then not be eligible to play if you wanted to. The first round has us drawn at home against Sundridge Park and has to be played by the 28th May. If anyone is interested, or knows someone who would be interested, please contact Bob Smith - Email: robert.smith@rs-as.co.uk
