SS Gain points at Royal Blackheath
Not the best result but not far off, Royal Blackheath were the victors by 3 wins to 2 in a really hard fought match.
Richard Jewitt & Martin Evans had a very good 6 & 4 win to bring home one of our points and the other was won by Dennis Shipp and Mike Smith who won 1 up, Mike Smith sinking a real pressure putt to maintain their 1 up lead.
Well done to all the lads, Royal Blackheath is never an easy place to go.
My thanks also to Bob Smith and Malcolm Hurst for coming to support, it was very much appreciated.
Our next match is at home on Monday 14th August against Langley Park all support is very welcome.

Bad luck to the team at Blackheath in a hard fought match. Couple of torrential downpours as well which didn't help. Greens seemed slower than ours at Cherry. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon despite the result and I will be there on 14th August to support the match against Langley Park.
