NOT GOOD NEWS FROM THE SS I'M AFRAID!!

Unfortunately the SS Team lost 2-3 to Chislehurst at Cherry Lodge today.

I have to admit it came as a bit of a shock to me as I didn't think they would cope with the way Cherry is playing at the moment, how wrong can you be!!! In our defence we were giving a total of 57 shots and only received 12. Every Cherry Lodge pair were giving shots to their opponents.

Well done to Jamie Humphrey and Richard Jewitt for hanging in there and winning on the last hole. VERY well done to Neil Hollins and Brian Avery for a excellent 5 & 4 win, well done lads.

I have to say I am really disappointed with the number of members putting their names down to play!! I need 12 players per match in order to field a full team with reserves, I only had 11 for this match and could not field a reserve pair. There seems to be a lack of players with higher handicaps willing to play. As long as your Handicap Index is below 20.5 you are eligible to play. I don't guarantee everyone will get a game but at least give me the chance to consider you!!!!

The sign up sheet for our next match against West Kent is on the Vets Notice Board so now is your chance to be considered for that match.
