New Year - New Diary

...and New Captain/Vice/Committee...

Monday 12th January 2026

Our 2026 Season is about to get under way with the first Stableford of the year scheduled for Tuesday 13th January. With the new year there are some new items for the website....

New Diary

The Vets Diary has changed and is now in the form of an Agenda type. There are 4 different types and colour-coded for Vets competitions (Red), Vets Friendly Matches (Yellow), Vets League Matches (Dark Blue) and Vets Super Senior League Matches (Light Blue). There is a key at the top, and you can select the different diaries from the Calendar icon on the top right of the diary as shown:

By default all 4 diaries are shown. The Agenda shows the next 6 months of entries - but all entries for the year have been entered.

New Committee

The AGM voted in new members onto the Committee. We now have our new Vets Captain Ian Johnson, and his vice-Captain Antony Jose, and we have a new Vets League Captain Micky Smith. We also have a new position of Handicap Secretary in Andy Murray. You can read their bios on the Committee page (Andy's info to follow).

New Winter Course - Slope Rating

The Winter Course has introduced a new Slope Rating - a copy from the club website has been reproduced on the Vets Website under the Members area.
