⛳ May Medal Madness: 52 Vets Battle the Elements!
Updated: May 1
28th April 2026
What a turnout! 52 determined Vets braved cold and blustery conditions to compete in the May Qualifier Medal from the 64 tees. Split into Gold and Silver divisions, the competition was fierce—and the course was in pristine condition despite the weather trying its best to throw players off their game!
🏆 DIVISION HIGHLIGHTS
The Gold Division saw a commanding performance with a 70 net taking top honors, while two players carding 72 net battled it out for the remaining podium spots—countback deciding the runner-up position.
The Silver Division delivered equally impressive scoring, with another 70 net claiming victory. The competition was tight throughout, with 72 and 73 net rounding out the top three.
🎯 SWEEP SUCCESS!
Four players nailed spectacular 2's, each pocketing £9 in bar credit. Nothing beats the sound of a ball dropping in the cup!
📋 THE ROAD AHEAD
Our Division winners have secured their places in the prestigious 2027 Masters, while runners-up and third-place finishers qualify for the 2027 Heath Bowl (unless they make the Masters cut).
🎱 CLUBHOUSE DRAW
Four lucky members walked away as Ball Draw winners—congratulations all!
