Maintenance Update

Aug 1, 2022
1 min read

Hello All,

With reference to the Maintenance work this week, I spoke to our head greenkeeper Barry in the clubhouse earlier today. They will complete the verti-cutting process today (Monday) on all greens (cut down to about 2cm and removes the old thatch), then cut the greens and remove all the cuttings. Those of you going up to play tomorrow on Tuesday please be aware the green staff intend to solid tine 14mm and 9mm holes on each green, and top dress the greens with round 40 ton of sand tomorrow, so you may need to move on to the next hole if the staff are working on the hole you are playing. The work is labour-intensive and will take longer on each hole as there may be many more players on the course than today.
