League Season Summary

Another league season is over and this year was an extremely close finish with Langley Pk pipping Sundridge Pk by 0.5 of a point following an away win in their final game at West Kent.

We finished 4th this season with a record of 5 wins/1draw/4 defeats and a mere 1pt behind West Kent.

In almost all our matches we had to give 10+ shots in total so perhaps something to work with next season!!

In the KVLG singles competition at The Ridge both Jeff Chadney and Jamie Humphrey represented the club and both finished with 30pts in 30th position ( out of 90 players)-a credible performance as neither had played the course before.

In the pairs competition at Nizels last week Martyn Heath and Kevin Holland represented the club and with 40pts they finished 2nd, behind a team from Nizels so a great team effort there.

In addition Martyn hit a hole-in-one on the long 14th Par 3 so well done to him!!

Many thanks to the 20+individuals who played for the team this year plus those who took time out to support the team at one of our matches.

1st match next year is again away at Langley Park in early May but the full list will appear on our notice board in due course and , of course, anyone with a max HI of 15.5 and sufficient cards logged in the WHS are more than welcome to register at the appropriate time via this website.
