League Opener at Langley Park

On a fine morning at Langley Park we started this year,s league campaign with a 4-2 loss but, on the bright side, it was our best result there for a few good years so well done to the team.

Our 2 points were won by Tim Wilcox and Jeff Wybourn (1 up) and Dennis Shipp/Richard Perkins (3&2) and with a bit more luck we may well have drawn the match but not to be!!

Up next are Royal Blackheath at home on 22/5 and if we can repeat last year,s result of 4.5-1.5 or better it, will have been a good start to this year,s campaign.
