KVGL-Annual Singles Championship 2023
Richard Watson and Chris Tappin represented the club and the Vets section at the above end of season singles championship last Friday at Chestfield GC.
On a fine but blustery day both of them finished with a very credible 33pts to finish 11th ”equal” out of a total field of 84 players representing the vast majority of clubs in Kent.
The winner was from Bearsted who shot 41points.
Micky Smith and Jamie Humphrey are playing later this week in the “pairs” final and I will report on their exploits in due course.
Well done Richard and Chris on a credible performance in finishing equal 11th in a big field. Sorry I couldn't be there to support you. Good luck to Micky and Jamie in the pairs final later this week.
