“Derby” win at West Kent

We made the short journey to West Kent today to play the first of our 2 “derby” matches against West Kent in the Vets League.

I am delighted to report that we came away with a great 3.5/2.5 win thereby earning a welcome bonus point for an away victory and I believe the first away win for anyone this season.

The course was in great condition and every match was very keenly contested and I must give a special mention this time to Chris Tappin/Roger Farringdon who came from “dormie 5” to half their match and earn the 0.5 point which made all the difference!!Excellent result and we move on to Blackheath next week now for another tough away match.
