Derby Defeat At West Kent

We played at West Kent today in the first of this weekend’s double-headers and slumped to a 4.5/1.5 defeat in sweltering conditions on a course that , personally, I don’t think overall is as good as Cherry Lodge.

No excuses though as a number of our pairs played to handicap but still lost so the better team won on the day and on the plus side we did lose 6-0 there last year so at least we gained 1.5pts and well done to those that played their part. We head to Blackheath now and an away win is required to keep our league chances alive.
