Close Call at Chislehurst

Following our 6-0 thumping of Sundridge the league team played at Chislehurst today in our 2nd away match of the season on an extremely warm day.

The team was pretty well unchanged from our last match and again put up a very good performance but eventually succumbed to a narrow 3.5/2.5 loss with 4 of the 6 matches being decided on the 18th hole.

Had the matches concluded on the 17th green the result would have been very much in our favour but sadly it was not to be and the 18th hole proved to be a bit of a nemesis for us.

However, all is not lost and we are still some 5 points better than we were this time last year so a crack at the title is still well within our grasp if we can produce the goods in our next match h at home to Langley in early July-👍⛳️
