Blackheath Beaten

The League team played its 2nd away match in 4 days at Royal Blackheath today and in conditions significantly better than forecast we came away with a smashing 3.5/2.5 victory thereby earning an “away” bonus point and our 4th straight victory over them.

Having said that the highest margin of victory in any match was 3&1 and every match went to at least the 17th green.

The standard of golf was exceptional in all matches and in my match alone there were 4 birdies.

Have to say both the course and the BBQ afterwards were superb and the greens were some of the best I’ve putted on this year.

Congrats to all involved and we go to Sundridge next on 31/7 still in with a chance of league glory but we probably need to win there too to make it happen.-👍
