Away day at the Palace

Aug 21
1 min read

On Thursday 20th we visited Addington Palace a place were we have never won, sorry to say it’s still the case. I have to say there greens are the fastest I’ve played on this year and it proved to be difference in our game. The hot weather has not helped the uneven bounce on the fairway and was proving difficult to find your ball😩

We lost 3&half to 1&half. On the brighter side our reserves won as they could not provide a team.

I’m giving up the captains armband to Bernie Deacon after 3years, it’s been a pleasure and honour representing CherryLodge, onwards and upwards
