Match Secretary Malcolm Hurst described the day in his own words: 🌧️💨

“Today we had our final match of the season in atrocious conditions, with rain for the whole round and a very strong wind. However, we all battled through and finally recorded our first win.”

The final score was 4½ – 1½ 🥳, and Malcolm praised everyone’s dedication and perseverance. Captain Ian was over the moon both before and after an excellent lunch shared with the Sundridge players, who proved to be a great bunch with plenty of banter and camaraderie. 🍽️😄
